Re- visiting observation/description activity

Spencer observed my description of my postcard. I did not finish writing the description, so the project failed miserably. The only thing that were the same in the picture and the postcard were the color. Spencer misunderstood my description of the mountains, he just drew empty green outlined triangles that covered the paper. I think the next time, Ill need more time to describe the picture. I think the time was the key.

Paint Pour Activity

It was fun when Matheus and I poured paints on the paper. We created four paintings. One looked like a lava field cooling and one looks like something of a face, and two were just a beautiful blob of colorful paints. I was a bit nervous when the paint was poured on the wrong places but it turned out okay.

An Artist's Habitat BH

1. What makes someone an artist?
The ability to be creative and express with art, any kind of art, it could be literary like poetry or music, or it could be action like dancing or drama, or it could be on something like painting. An artist just must be creative.

2. What does it mean to be creative?
To think outside the box, to look at a perspective that most people are not looking. To think or do something that is unique and to take risk to express it somehow.

3. Describe at least 3 or 4 things an artist needs to be creative and productive.
An artist must have a source of inspiration to create any sort of art; it could be anything, depending on each person. The source of inspiration will spark the urge to create an art that creates expresses it or creates another inspiration. An artist also must have utensils to create art, it could be anything too it just must be the right ones for the art. An artist also must have space to do the art without any distraction apart from the source of inspiration.

Collaborative Drawings.

The final draft of my picture was much better than the first draft that I drew. It only required some minor changes by myself at the end then it was really good. I like it. The other students had achieved reaching my goal for this picture. They even made the penguin's captions better, and his space suit too. I am happy with the result.
