Re- visiting observation/description activity
Spencer observed my description of my postcard. I did not finish writing the description, so the project failed miserably. The only thing that were the same in the picture and the postcard were the color. Spencer misunderstood my description of the mountains, he just drew empty green outlined triangles that covered the paper. I think the next time, Ill need more time to describe the picture. I think the time was the key.

ah yes. more time would have helped. if you'd had more time what kinds of things would you have focused on describing?
ReplyDeleteI would have focused more on describing the mountains and how many peaks there are and more details. I would also add the description of the building and the sitting people too. That would have helped. It would take me at least a hour to perfect my description. 15 minutes was absolutely not sufficient to describe a complicated painting, especially without the direct words of people, things and places.
